About Dialogue against Violence
Dialogue against Violence was established in 2002 and is one of the oldest organizations in Europe of its kind. For 18 years, Dialogue against Violence has contributed to a better understanding of family violence as a societal problem that needs to be addressed. We are a non-profit non-governmental organization and a part of The Askov Foundation. Askov Foundation’s six departments – where Dialogue against Violence is one – work to create better terms for vulnerable people in Denmark. Today Dialogue against Violence is present in the three biggest cities in Denmark, Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen. Dialogue against Violence’s work is primarily financed by state and local governments.
